I'm passionate about helping people and making the world a better place.
This first led me to becoming an Educator and I learned how to speak confidently to an audience, listen carefully to student problems, ideate and iterate on lessons, and validate decisions to a variety of stakeholders. Without realizing it, I was practicing many components integral to a career in design.
As I transitioned into the world of Design, I quickly realized that this is truly where I belong. My love for people, feasible solutions, evolving technologies, and community make me a great fit for collaborative and mission-driven companies who want to do good in the world.

WHAT INSPIRES ME?
Love of Stories
Because I love people, I love stories. Many of my favorite moments in life involve being captivated by a good book, conversation, interview, or anything that involves the telling of an experience.
This endless curiosity and fascination about the lives of others has inevitably lead me to genuinely caring about the world around me. I don't think it's possible to truly listen to a good story and walk away unchanged and I know that my empathy, passion for justice, and sense of optimism come from the stories I've absorbed.
Creation and Growth
Practicing pottery and growing plants has helped me create a stronger identity and taught me the importance of staying creative and growing in times of hardship.
I started making pottery in 2015 and it led me to discovering how much I enjoy and crave creation in my life. There's nothing quite like eating and drinking out of your own hand-made mistakes and triumphs, plus they make great gifts for others!
In addition, I really love taking care of succulents, not only for their adorably chubby leaves but also for their grit. Their shallow root systems and water- rich bodies allow them to live in the harshest climates on the planet and something about their resilience inspires me to keep growing.
Nature and Stewardship
Nothing makes me happier than being outside in beautiful landscapes with people I care about. You'll often see me running, hiking, or climbing on the weekends with my favorite Nalgene water bottle that is covered in fun stickers.
I'm constantly humbled by the strength, beauty and fragility of the world we live in and believe it's important to be stewards of the natural world. Seeking out sustainable choices makes me think a lot about personal impact, personal responsibility, and accountability.
